Alberta Career Development Community Meetups – Calgary & Edmonton

This June, we had the pleasure of bringing career development professionals together for two outstanding Community Meetups in Calgary and Edmonton.

While each event had its own unique energy and personality, both were filled with enthusiasm, meaningful conversations, new connections, and a shared commitment to strengthening the career development profession. It was wonderful to see our community come together in such an engaging and spirited way.

Our sincere thanks go to our facilitators, who helped make these gatherings such a success. In Calgary, Ann Nakaska and Dr. Hoda Kilani led thoughtful and inspiring discussions that encouraged participation and collaboration. In Edmonton, Paula Wischoff and Robert Malnutson created another dynamic and welcoming space where members could connect, share ideas, and learn from one another.

As WCCDA continues to grow, these local meetups are becoming an important part of building a vibrant, connected professional community. We're excited to keep the momentum going and look forward to returning with more opportunities for networking and professional development, including upcoming sessions focused on counselling skills for career development professionals.
